RIMS incident management software
RIMS is incident management software for UK workplaces. Anyone can report an incident or near miss from a phone, and managers take it through investigation, actions and sign-off, with the facts for RIDDOR and your insurer gathered as they go. RIMS is part of the Thing.team suite from ML2 Consulting and is in development.

What RIMS is designed to do
- Report
- Anyone on site can report an incident or near miss from a phone, with photos, in a few taps.
- Investigate
- Witness statements, root cause and evidence stay together with the incident.
- Actions and sign-off
- Every action has an owner and a due date, and the right person signs it off.
- RIDDOR pack
- The facts the HSE asks for are collected as you go, so reporting isn't a scramble.
- Insurer pack
- One export with the timeline, the evidence and the actions.
Who it's for
- Health and safetyEvery incident and action in one list.
- ManagersWhat happened in their area and what is still open.
- Everyone on siteA quick way to report from a phone.
Part of Thing.team
RIMS uses the same people and departments as every other Thing.team app, so a report already knows who was involved and where they work. Complaints in CREAM can link to the incident behind them, and incident numbers appear in the director pack from CROSS.

Questions
Does RIMS send RIDDOR reports to the HSE?
No. RIDDOR reports are made through the HSE's own online service. RIMS gathers the facts the HSE asks for as you go, so the report is quick to complete and the record stays with the incident.
Can people report from a phone?
Yes. Reporting is designed for a phone first.
When will RIMS be available?
RIMS is in development and not on sale yet. RIMS on thing.team has the latest.
Who is behind RIMS?
RIMS is built by ML2 Consulting, the company behind Thing.team.
